Heirloom Skater Plate

We all fall down, only to get up again.  That's the fun of learning  to ice skate.

This hand-painted scene shows Billie the skater, illustrating the letter "I" from a 19th century alphabet:"I was the ice which Billie would skate, so up went her heels and down went her pate".  This blue-themed winter scene with touches of brown is giving new life to a classic cafeteria-style Thompson ceramic plate.  Because the plainest little plates can be made so very interesting...

The plate, which measures 8" in diameter, is in perfect condition and designed to withstand the curiosity of children.  It will add a uniquely whimsical touch to a child's room...or remind the grown ups that life is a journey.
